Obermayr International School Schwalbach/Main-Taunus

The OIS started operations in August 2009 with a bilingual primary school and a children's daycare centre.

We nw offer, inaddition to the daycare facilities:
- Bilingual primary school - classes 1-4
- Bilingual secondary modern school - classes 5-8
- Bilingual plus grammar school - classes 5-8 

These schools are state-recognised private schools based on the Schools Act of the State of Hesse. The tuition languages from the 1st grade upwards are English and German. For acceptance into the bilingual plus grammar school a good knowledge of English (with sound use of the language) and a school transfer recommendation is a prerequisite upon entry to the 5th grade. A language course to prepare pupils suitable for grammar school will be offered from March - July.

The addition a sixth form is planned for the school year 2015/2016.
